Installation
Installation Charges will appear as a one-time charge on your monthly statement.
Change of Service
The first billing statement, after completion of a change of service, will reflect prorated charges and/or credits from the date of activity until the beginning of your billing cycle. Prorated services are based on a 30 day billing cycle. Please pay the total amount due.
Equipment
Any security system that we provide under our lease program shall remain our property. If you terminate service, please ensure that all equipment is returned immediately. Equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged will be billed as a one-time charge on your account, up to $300 per system.
Previous Balance
This is your previous unpaid balance up to the payments received by the statement date printed on the front of you bill. Payments received after the statement date will appear on your next bill. A special handling fee of up to $5.00 is applied to accounts with a balance not paid within 35 days of the due date. If the balance is not paid, your alarm system will be scheduled for disconnection. To have service restored, it is required that you pay the total amount due and charges for the upcoming month.
Disconnection of Service/Moving
Termination of service must be requested in writing 30 days in advance of the termination date. To disable your alarm we will need to dial in via telephone; please be sure to schedule disconnect of your alarm before disconnecting your telephone service.
Telephone Changes
If you are planning to change your phone number please contact our office at 704-943-4499 or toll free at 1-866-649-8018 prior to changing your phone number. We will need to access your security system and update it prior to making changes to your phone system.
Moving
If you are planning to move to new home please contact us at 704-943-4499 or toll free at 1-866-649-8018 prior to changing making any changes with your home telephone number. We will need to access your security system over the telephone so that it can be updated prior to your move.
Vacation/Extended Leave
If you are planning to leave your home for an extended period and will not have anyone entering your home during this time you may want to temporarily change your alarm options for immediate dispatch.
Please contact our Monitoring Center at 1-800-547-3229 to provide them with the dates and times you will be away. In the event of an alarm signal while you are away we can immediately dispatch police or fire on your behalf and then contact someone who can meet the fire/police on your behalf.
Digital Home Phone Service
Security systems from Time Warner Cable and Security are fully compatible with Digital Home Phone service.
Taxes
Taxes are collected by Time Warner Cable Security and paid to state and local governments.
License

Correspondence
